Gregory Dean Smith, 59, of Homerville, died Tuesday March 5, 2019 in Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee.

He was born January 27, 1960 in Waco, TX to the late James Avery Smith and Dean Willene Hendley Smith.  He was a textile machinist with WinFab.

He is survived by a daughter: Amanda Woodruff of Tifton; son: James Smith of Nashville; mother: Doris Willene Smith of Nashville; 2 sisters: Sandra Jean Holbert of Belpre, OH and Cheryl Ann Soares of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 brothers: Richard Alan Gaskins of Nashville and Curtis Avery Smith; 2 grandchildren: Emma Kay Woodruff and Katie Lee Smith.

A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday March 10, 2019 at 2 PM in Nashville Memorial Garden with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
