Obituary

Carl Grover Fulp. Jr., 78, of Nashville died Monday October 12, 2020 at his residence.

He was born January 4, 1942 in Cook County to the late Carl Grover Fulp and the late Lula Lasseter Fulp.  He was the retired owner of Fulp Jewelers after 23 years, owned Chevron/Amoco in Cecil and Exxon in Valdosta for 30 years.  He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and loved his family and horses.  He is preceded in death by a sister: Bonnie Bayman.

He is survived by his wife: Patsy Hancock Fulp; two daughters: Laura, Pharm. D. (Jeff) Casteel of Riceville, TN and Dr. Lora (Chris) Efaw of Tifton; son: Carl (Laura) Fulp, J. D., of Hahira; eight grandchildren: Seth (Katie) Sumner, Brandy (Jason) Wade; Carley Fulp, J. D., Olivia Efaw, Jordan Efaw, Caley Fulp, Cavan Fulp and Larkin Casteel; six great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Brandon, Taylor, Jonathan, Georgia and Carl Mason; sister: Betty Atkinson of Adel; three brothers: John (Barbara) Fulp of Cecil,  Richard (Valeria) Fulp of Melbourne, FL and Raymond (Nancy) Fulp of Tifton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 15, 2020 at 7 PM in Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. A private entombment in Fellowship Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be hour one hour prior to the service at the church.
