Harold Thomas Foster, 85, of Ray City died Saturday July 9, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born April 30, 1931 in McComas, WV to the late Dillard Henry Foster and the late Nellie Dent Foster. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam ( 2 tours) . He retired as a TSGT crew chief and was employed at Cook County Ford for 14 years. He was a member of Ray City United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Harris Foster who died in 1999. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Linda (Terry) Bennefield of Ray City, Judy (Jimmy) Stokes of Nashville, and Kathy Spivey of Nashville; 3 sons: Charles (Sherry) Foster of Roanoke, VA, Michael (Doris) Foster of Dellville, AL, and David (Debra) Foster of Panama City, FL; 6 sisters; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 11, 2016 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Debbie Cone and the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation is Sunday 5-7 PM.
