Dane Mathis passed away at age 74 in Pennsylvania after battling a year-long illness.
He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, of whom he was so proud.
Dane also cherished the countless friendships he made throughout his lifetime. He was
an avid sports and racing fan who enjoyed being outdoors, tending to his lawn, and
woodworking. His work ethic was evident in his many years of hard work and dedication
up until his retirement, after which he continued to work part time until he became ill. His
presence, especially his humor and his laughter, is deeply missed.
Dane's children have honored his wishes to have a small, simple service with a
graveside gathering in his memory and interment at Westview Cemetery in Nashville on
Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 12:00 P.M
