Harrie Clifford Davis' Obituary
Harrie Clifford Davis, 91, of Alapaha died Thursday February 7, 2013 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 17, 1921 in Ben Hill County to the late John Quincy Adams Davis and the late Nancy Honor Livingston. He was a retired farmer and attended St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Erma Elvira Brogdon Davis who died in 2010; 2 sisters: Nettie Mae Griner and Clara Hancock.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Louise (Billy) Steverson of Alapaha and Glenda Davis of Alapaha; 3 grandchildren: Michael Steverson, Darren Harper, and Dwain Steverson; 5 great grandchildren; sister: Kate Wilson of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 10, 2013 at 3 PM in the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell, Rev. Kevin Stone, and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 7 to 9 PM.
