Harris Herman Franklin, 88, of Snellville died Thursday April 30, 2020 at his residence.

He was born May 9, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Benjamin Singletary Franklin and the late Ella Mae Moore Franklin.  He was a self employed pool repairman having worked in Lewisville, TX and Snellville. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army stationed in Germany and of the Catholic Faith.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Fann Hillard Franklin; four brothers: Vincent Franklin, Vernon Franklin, Verdane Franklin and Coy Franklin.

He is survived by his son: Barry (Audrey) Franklin of Lilburn; sister: Agnes Jones of Woodstock; brother: Pete (Marsha) Franklin of Galex, VA; three grandchildren: Haley, Jordan and Danielle Franklin.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside funeral service will be held Monday May 4, 2020 in St. Luke Cemetery.
