Harry Albert Nielsen, 89, of Nashville, died Friday November 5, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 18, 1932 in Poyntelle, PA to the late Neal Fonskov Nielsen and the late Rose Ellen Hazledine Nielsen. He was a milk carrier for Pet for years, drove a route for Swann Food Service and worked at Wal-Mart. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, an Army veteran in the 82 ^nd Airborne and served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a sister: Shirley Schmitt and four brothers: Neal Nielsen, George Nielsen, Gene Nielsen and Charles Nielsen.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Pierce Nielsen of Nashville; daughter: Cynthia (George) Tomes of China Grove, TX; 2 sons: Buster Nielsen of Nashville and John (Linda) Trout of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Kimberly (Jeffrey) Crawford, Trey (Sara) Tomes, Jonathan (Shawna) Tomes and Stephen (Faith) Tomes; 5 great grandchildren: Alex, Aubri, Janie, George and Rosie.

A memorial service will be held Friday November 12, 2021 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service.
