Harvey Shirrell Ritchea, 87, of Nashville, died Sunday May 29, 2022 at his residence.

He was born February 7, 1935 in Dallas, WVA to the late Harvey Melvin Ritchea and the late Wilma Holmes Ritchea. He was a retired TSGT US Air Force working as a flight control systems technician with 20 years of service and was a veteran of Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Marie Griffin Ritchea of Nashville; daughter: Sherry Barrett of Tifton; 5 sons: Michael Ritchea of Nashville, Mark Ritchea of LaGrange, Kenneth Elder of San Antonio, TX, Jimmy Dampier of Nashville and Raymond Dampier of Nashville; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 4:30 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dampier and Mr. Raymond Dampier officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
