Helen Berle Strosnider Duncan's Obituary
Helen Berle Strosnider Duncan, of Nashville, passed Friday August 22, 2014 in Langdale Hospice House.
She was born September 18, 1921 in Littleton, West Virginia to the late James Edward Strosnider and the late Bertha Bell Church. She was a member of Montgomery County School Board and was passionate about reading, quilting and needlepoint. She was an active member of the UMC and was a member of the Rebecca's. She was preceded in death by her husband: W.T. "Ace" Duncan.
She is survived by her son: Stanley E. (Cheryl) Duncan of Nashville, GA; 2 grandchildren: J. Paul (Barbara) Duncan of Charlotte, NC, and Christina (Jason) Downward of Nashville, GA; 3 great grandchildren: Jacob Downward, Diana Downward, and Parker Duncan.
The family has held a private service and ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Interment will follow at a later date in Weston, West Virginia.
