Henrietta Evelyn Rogers' Obituary
Henrietta Evelyn Rogers, 92, of Alapaha died Thursday March 26, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born October 2, 1922 in Wilcox County to the late Henry David Minyard and the late Leolian Farrow Minyard. She was a homemaker and a member of Alapaha Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Lanier Rogers and also preceded in death by a daughter: Donna Joy Rogers.
She is survived by 2 sons: Phillip (Sylvia) Hoffman of Alapaha and James L. (Debbie) Rogers, Jr of Lake Park; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Porky Haynes and Rev. Gerald Mallard officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta. Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-8 PM.
