Herbert Lewis "Peanut" Harris, 81, of Nashville, died Monday March 24, 2025, in the Berrien Oaks.

He was born December 10, 1943, in Berrien County to the late Charlton Harris and the late Sarah Elizabeth Swails Harris. He was a produce broker, was known as the "tomato man" and served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife: Evelyn Browning Harris who died in 2016 and 12 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be Wednesday March 24, 2025, at 11 AM in the Antioch cemetery in Cook County with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation is Wednesday in the cemetery prior to the service.
