Howard Wayne Gulley, 78, of Ray City, died Monday October 15, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL.

He was born September 19, 1940 in Atlanta to the late Howard Gulley and the late Christine Davis Gulley.  He retired as Territory Supervisor with Crown Central Petroleum in Valdosta and was a former Mayor of Ray City.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Ann Hughes Gulley of Ray City; 2 daughters: Pam (Paul) Harden of Alexandria, VA and Cari Gulley of Valdosta; step daughter: Melissa Wyatt of Ray City; son: Russell (Rhonda) Gulley of Thomaston; 5 grandchildren; half sister: Phyllis Trotter of Stockbridge; and a half brother: Rick (Sandy) Trotter of Stockbridge.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 18, 2018 at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peay officiating. Visitation is at the funeral home Wednesday 6 to 8 PM.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of Ray City @ P.O. Box 6 31645
