Howard Elton Heath's Obituary
Howard Elton Heath, 78, of Douglas died Tuesday January 2, 2018 at his residence.
He was born August 20, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Clifton Edward Heath and the late Rosa Beatrice Fender Heath. He was a school maintenance supervisor in Maynard, Iowa. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers: William, Clifton and Johnny Heath; and 2 sisters: Melba Ray and Mary Griner.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Leasha Key of Douglas and Brenda Mancil of Pearson, son: Gerald Heath of Commerce; 2 sisters: Linda Hall of Alapaha and Jean Strickland of Jacksonville, FL; 2 brothers: Thomas Heath and Elwood Heath both of Alapaha; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 6 at 2 PM in New Griffin Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Brogdon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
