Hubert Huston Hancock, 79, of Nashville, died Wednesday September 28, 2016 at his residence.
He was born June 4, 1937 in Atkinson County to the late Shafter Hancock and the late Ella Roland Hancock. He was a retired insurance agent with Life of Georgia and owned Huston Hancock Trucking Co. He was of the Holiness Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a brother, Auston Hancock and a grandchild.
He is survived by his wife: Grace Soles Hancock of Nashville; 2 daughters: Teresa Haynes of Ocilla and Karen Hancock (Jon Kent) of Nashville; son: Huey (Teresa) Hancock of Nashville; 2 sisters: Vivian Manley of Tifton and Marie Mathis of Nashville; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 1, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral with Dr. Bill Hancock and Rev. Edgar Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
