Hubert Winford Nix's Obituary
Hubert Winford Nix, 72, of Orange City, FL, formerly of Nashville, died Friday April 4, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, FL.
He was born June 23, 1941 in Berrien County to the late Charley Columbus Nix and the late Eula Mae Yancey. He was a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Jack Nix and James Ernest Nix and a sister: Lanette Nix.
He is survived by 2 sisters: Carolyn Rowland of Orange City, FL and Leta Hendley of Palatka, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 11 AM in the Poplar Springs Cemetery with Rev. Dan Nix officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
