Idell Essie Rigdon's Obituary
Idell Essie Rigdon, 87, of Nashville, died Monday September 23, 2013 at her residence.
She was born March 24, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Joe Mathis and the late Alice Lewis. She was a homemaker and member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Plymel, and son, James Winston Plymel.
She is survived by her husband: Wilbert Rigdon of Nashville; daughter: Katie Weeks of Adel; step daughter: Elanie Rigdon; sister: Betty Meyer of Lakeland; 6 grandchildren: Tammy Clements, Bill Plymel, Kevin Weeks,Jessica Parkerson, Jeremy Smith and Susan Corbitt; 12 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 26, 2013 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III and Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM.
