Inell Retha Hughes Mathis' Obituary
Inell Retha Hughes Mathis, 97, of Crossville, Tn, formerly of Nashville, died Monday December 1, 2014 in Standing Stone Care & Rehab in Monterey, TN.
She was born December 11, 1916 in Berrien County to the late Henry H. Hughes and the late Pearlie Bloodworth Hughes. She was a homemaker, a retired supervisor with Levi Strauss and a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scranton Mathis.
She is survived by her son: Clem (Angela) Mathis of Crossville, TN; grandson: Stephen Christopher Sims of Crossville and a sister, Ruth Cooper.
Funeral services will be held Sunday December 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Dukes,III officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-7 PM. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
