Obituary

Jackie Eugene "Jack" Kennedy, 81, of West Berrien Community, died Thursday April 15, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on April 7, 1940 in Colquitt County to the late William Newton Kennedy and the late Bannie Elizabeth Price Kennedy. He was a retired manager with Pantry Pride Supermarket, worked with Coca Cola in Valdosta and served as a bus driver with Berrien County Board of Education for ten years. He was of the Baptist faith and was very involved with the Georgia Bridgemen Band Boosters. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 7 brothers.

He is survived by his wife: Gail Lee Kennedy of West Berrien; 2 daughters: Lisa (Ronnie) Mashburn of Hahira and Gena (David) Tyson of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Randy Mashburn, Bradley Mashburn, Kaitlyn (Sam) Patterson, Sydney Tyson and Madeline Tyson; 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday April 18, 2021 at 2 PM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
