Obituary

Jack Edward Looney, 61, of Nashville died Tuesday July 23, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 9, 1957 in Mansfield, OH to Beverly Ann Pugh Looney the late Clifford Jack Looney.  He was retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Tech Sgt as a munitions specialist having served in Desert Storm/ Desert Shield. After retirement, he became very involved with the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America, where he served as Scout Leader, Berrien County Search and Rescue and Citizen's Mercy Response Team.

He is survived by his wife: Cheryl Brassington Edwards of Nashville; daughter: Michelle Joanne (Ryan) Dewees of San Antonio, TX; son: Matthew Edwards of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Benjamin Michael Edwards, Jack Ryan Dewees and Olivia Katelyn Dewees; mother: Beverly Looney of Mansfield, OH; 2 sisters: Connie Sue Decker of Middleburg, FL and Linda Duda of Mansfield, OH; brother: Ronald Looney of Crestline, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 25, 2019 at 7 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Cason officiating. Interment will follow Friday July 26, 2019 at 2 PM in Andersonville National Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Red Cross.
