George Jackson Moore, 91, of Nashville, died Saturday October 23, 2021, at his residence.

He was born June 5, 1930 in Berrien County to the late Oren Gary Moore and the late Retha Inez McLendon Moore. He was a retired certified public accountant with the former J.H. Harvey Co. He was a devoted member of the Nashville First Baptist Church where he served faithfully as Sunday School teacher, deacon emeritus and was a licensed Baptist minister. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mason in Duncan Lodge #234 and a Shriner in Hasan Temple. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a BBA degree in accounting.

He is survived by his wife: Emajean Ray Moore of Nashville and a sister: Mary Kinchen of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Monday October 25, 2021, at 11 AM in the Nashville First Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Stewart and Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to the service.
