James Allen Anderson, Jr., 69, died Sunday May 12, 2013 in SGMC Berrien Campus Hospital.
He was born November 13, 1943 in Berrien County to the late James Allen Anderson and the late Eudine Rogers. He was a farmer and was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Judy Smith and a brother: Earl Anderson.
He is survived by his wife: Jo Ann McKinnon Anderson of Nashville; 3 daughters: Angie (Randy) Mason of Dublin; Terri (Alan) Hamil of St. Augustine, FL; Monica (Michael) Purvis of Adel; 6 grandchildren: Kinsley Mason, Ali Hamil, Kaitlyn Mason, Anderson Hamil;, LeeAnn Purvis, Jansen Purvis.
Funeral services will be held Friday May 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Benjy Varnell and the Rev. Russ Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8PM . In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Nashville United Methodist Church.
