James Anthony "Andy" Burdette, 36, of Alapaha died Monday August 8, 2016 at his residence.
He was born March 24, 1980 in Tifton to James Earnest Burdette and Angela Gail Newsom. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his mother: Gail Newsom of Alapaha; father and step mother: Jimmy (Sandee) Burdette of Thomasville; sister: Angela Renee Burdette of Nashville; step sister: Amanda Burdette of Valdosta; step brother: Alex Burdette of Ocilla; maternal grandfather: Henry (Geneva) Newsom of Alapaha; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday August 11, 2016 at 5 PM in Fletcher Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Mallard officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-4 PM at the funeral home.
