James Oscar Hawkins, age 77 of Nashville, died Tuesday November 15 at his residence. He was a retired E-9 with the US Air Force and was also retired with Nashville Mills.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Bray Hawkins of Nashville; 3 sons, Mike and Tim Hawkins of Nashville and Richard Hawkins of Jupiter, Fl; grandson, Carl Hawkins; great grandson, Tyler Hawkins; brother, J. W. Hawkins of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Ian Burgin officiating. The family will honor his request for cremation following the service.
