James Edward Hopkins, 74, of Nashville, died Saturday September 6, 2025, at SGMC in Valdosta.

He was born June 4, 1951, in Knoxville, TN to the late George Hopkins and the late Mary Jones Hopkins. He was a welder, Navy veteran and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by a daughter: Mary Diane Jeanette Hopkins of Nashville; 2 grandchildren; sister: Sharon Daniels of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

His family will honor his request for cremation, and a service will be held at a later date.
