James William "Jim-Driver" Garrett, 78, of Nashville died Tuesday February 8, 2011 in the Berrien County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife: Billie Jo Garrett who died on April 16, 2007.

He is survived by his daughter: Paige (David) Dampier of Nashville, 3 sons: Jimmy (Beth) Garrett of Tallahassee, Fl, Tommy (Tammy) Garrett of Adel and Joey (Tonia) Garrett of Nashville; 8 grandchildren: Krystle Dampier Sapp, Jarred Garrett, J.W. Garrett, Austin Garrett, Seth Garrett, Blake Garrett, Hunter Garrett, and Cole Garrett; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 11, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Elder Robert Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is Thursday from 7 to 9 PM.
