James Clifford "Jim" Hughes, 77, of Nashville died Sunday March 21, 2010 at his residence.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Sue (Jesse) Stone of Nashville, and Sherri (Kenny) White of Lake Park; 2 sons: Mike (Rhonda) Hand of Nashville and Jimmy (Melissa) Hughes, Jr of Valdosta, 4 granddaughters: Wendy (James) Morris, Joni (Roger) Green, Stacie (Alvin) May, and Nikki (Evan) Goforth all of Nashville; 3 grandsons: Jamie (Shana) Thomas of Gainesville, Fl, Kevin Hand of Nashville, and Zak (Kirstin) Hughes of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held Thursday March 25, 2010 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the interment to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM.
