James Austin "Jimmy" Roberts, 70, of Nashville died Wednesday April 6, 2011 at his residence.
He was born October 15, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Joshua Leland Roberts and the late Annie Bell Kent. He was a retired truck driver for bulk gas delivery with the W.K. Gaskins Oil & Tire Co. He was a retired fireman with the City of Nashville and a member of Flat Creek Church.
He is survived by his wife: Shelby Rowan Roberts of Nashville; daughter: Barbara (Robbie) Dasher of Nashville; son: Timmy (Angie) Roberts of Nashville; brother: Wayne Roberts of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Brad Roberts, Will Dasher, and Delaney Dasher; 2 great granddaughters: Lillie and Caroline Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 9, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Friday after 2 PM with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM.
