James William "J.W." Parr's Obituary
James William "J.W." Parr, 76, of Nashville died Thursday June 21, 2012 at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1935 in Berrien County to the late Virgil Hollis Parr and the late Maggie Golden. He retired from Georgia Department of Transportation as a transportation engineer. He was preceded in death by his wife Amerilus Tyson Parr. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Geraldine Griner, and a brother: Virgil Parr.
He is survived by his daughter: Brenda (Darrell) Barber of Nashville; son: James (Kim) Parr of Valdosta; 3 grandchildren: Zachery Barber, Adam Barber and Heather Parr; sister: Doris Inell Cornelius of Nashville; brother: N.L. "Red" Parr of Valdosta.
Funeral services will be held Monday June 25, 2012 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Blanton officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 7 to 9 PM.
