James "Buddy" Lucious Nix's Obituary
James Lucious "Buddy" Nix, 83, of Nashville died Tuesday October 13, 2015 in the Langdale Hospice House.
He was born September 1, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Lucious Ernest Nix and the late Alma Harper Nix. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force, served in Vietnam and attended Hope Baptist Church. He was the widower of Johnnie Faye Dorminey Nix who died in 2012.
He is survived by a daughter: Judith Ann (Bill) Cooper of Adel; son: David (Kim) Nix of Nashville; brother: Billy (Libby) Nix of Nashville; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday October 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Nix and the Rev. Ray Calvin officiating. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
