James "Mac" Richard McMillan, 51, of Mauk, GA died Monday September 12, 2016 at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1964 in Albany, GA to E.D. McMillan and the late Barbara Ann McBurnett McMillan. He retired Staff Sergeant with United States Marine Corps, served in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, Kuwaitt and also a registered RN. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Heather McMillan.
He is survived by his wife: Tonja Bowlen McMillan of Mauk; daughter: Amanda McMillan of Mauk; 2 sons: Matthew McMillan of Knoxville, TN and B.J McMillan of Paris Island, SC; father: E.D. "Mac" McMillan of Nashville; 2 brothers: David McMillan of Nashville and Steve McMillan of Hahira; 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 17, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Fisher House Foundation ( 2016 Fisher House Foundation, Inc. 111 Rockville Pike #420 Rockville, MD 20850)
