James Ezekiel Sirmans, 64, of Nashville died Saturday November 28, 2015 in South Georgia Medical Center.
He was born February 5, 1951 in Berrien County to the late Lancelot Julius "Cowboy" Sirmans and the late Mildred Hayes Sirmans. He was a construction superintendent for Tishco., LLC in Valdosta and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Angie Sirmans; sister: Ollie June Taylor; 3 brothers: Bob Folds, Lance Sirmans, and Wayne Sirmans.
He is survived by his wife: Glenda Lentz Sirmans of Nashville; daughter: Terrie Sirmans of Nashville; 2 sons: Anthony Sirmans of Blackshear and James "LJ" (Deidra) Sirmans of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Abbigail, Braedon, and Emma Reese Sirmans; 3 sisters: Elizabeth Joan Sirmans of Nashville, Faye (John) Patterson of Hahira, and Lettie Revels of Chatsworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Elder Thad Marshall and Mr. David Sirmans officiating. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
