James Franklin Tyson's Obituary
James Franklin Tyson, 78, of Nashville, died Friday August 22, 2014 at his residence.
He was born August 21, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Robert J. Tyson and the late Onnie Rowan. He was a retired MSGT US Air Force as a communications repair specialist with 20 years of service.
He is survived by his wife: Mattie Geneva Golden Tyson of Nashville; 2 sons: Gregory (Patricia) Tyson of Tampa, FL and Jerry Tyson of Treasure Island, FL; 3 grandsons: Nicholas (Amanda), Patrick (Christina), and Sean; sister: Elizabeth (A.W.) Simms of Macon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 4 PM in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9 PM.
