Janice Sayyah, 88, of Nashville, died Saturday October 29, 2022 at her residence.

She was born January 31, 1934 in Atkinson County to the late Elijah Cook and the late Rhoda Carver Cook. She was a homemaker and member of Flat Creek Church. She was the widow of Edmund Sayyah who died in 2000 and was also preceded in death by 5 sisters: Jessie Bell Gilliard, Jean Speckert, Clarice Hamilton, Angie Lyons and Donnie Wee Nelms.

She is survived by her companion: Raleigh Bailey of Nashville; daughter: Tracie Sayyah of Grapevine, TX; 3 sons: Ron (Nadeemi) Sayyah of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Eddie (Gloria) Sayyah of Crystal Beach, TX and Jack (Patricia) Sayyah of League City, TX; 4 grandchildren, a great grandchild and a great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday October 31, 2022 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service.
