Jason Robert McEldowney, 39, of Nashville, died Saturday March 10, 2012 in Nashville.

He was born July 28, 1972 in Corry, Pennsylvania to Jon Robert McEldowney and Donna Mudge. He was employed with Harvey's Supermarkets in Nashville as a meatcutter. He attended the Alapaha Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Robert McEldowney who died in 1986.

He is survived by his wife: Karen Flanders McEldowney of Nashville; mother and step father: Donna (Richard) Reed of Nashville; father and step mother: Jon (Sandy) McEldowney of Nashville; 2 sisters: Michelle (Keith) Thompson of Nashville and Jen McEldowney of Nashville; brother: Jamie (Christy) McEldowney of Louisville, Ky and Joel (Chelsey) McEldowney of Beale Air Force Base, Ca; 3 nieces: Kayla, Kelsey, and Jillian; 3 nephews: Kyle, Jesse, and Eli; great nephew: Karter; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lewis and Joyce Flanders of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Gibbs and the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
