Obituary

Joe Ben "J.B." Cook, 74, of Nashville died Friday November 20, 2020 at his residence.

He was born December 13, 1945 in Berrien County to the late Lester Cook and the late Hettie Rouse Cook. He was employed as a logger with Cook Logging, an Army veteran and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife: Pat Wood Cook; brother: L. C. Cook, Jr.; sister: Letha Bailey; granddaughter: Meghan Blanchard.

He is survived by a son: Joe (Caroline) Cook, Jr. of Ray City; daughter: Melissa Cook of Nashville; three sisters: Nell (Sam) Walden of Adel, Betty Miller of Nashville and Linda (Donald) Sumner of Nashville; four grandchildren: Trish (Justin) Colding, Nikki (Brandon) Williams, Carrie (Jordan) Weeks and Maddison Cook; five great grandchildren: Conor, Cayden, Alexia, Hayze and Addisyn; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday November 23, 2020 at 11 AM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Wayne Taunton officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
