Dorothy Jean Moore, 95, of Lake Park, died Sunday September 26, 2021, at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born June 23, 1926 in Abbeville, AL to the late Ousley Lester and the late Mary Elizabeth Yates Lester. She was a retired dietitian with the former Berrien County Hospital and was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Malcom Eugene Moore who died in 2010 and also 2 sisters: Jackie Bently and Betty Cawhon.

She is survived by her daughter: Judy Johnson of Jakins; son:  Jimmy (Sandy) Rentz of Lake Park; sister: Ellie Davis of Nashville; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Addington and Mr. Dennis Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
