Jean Ann Remington, 68, of Ray City died Saturday November 12, 2016 in Lanier County.
She was born May 27, 1948 in Iowa to the late Clarence Bavender and the late Virginia Bavender. She was a cashier and food server at Publix in Valdosta and had worked at Harvey's Supermarket at Castlepark in Valdosta as floral manager for over 17 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law: Heidi Chaudoin; and best friend: Terry Hamilton.
She is survived by a daughter: Kristin (Jim) Manes of Ray City; son: Richard Chaudoin of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Chase Chaudoin, William Manes, and Karis Manes all of Ray City; brother: John (Carolyn) Bavender of Live Oak, FL.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 11 AM in New Ramah Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday in the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
