Jeanette Selph Dieas, 90, of Alapaha died Wednesday November 14, 2018 in Tift Regional Hospital.

She was born February 8, 1928 in Tift County to the late John Henry Selph and the late Martha Malissie Hall Selph.  She was a homemaker, a retired teller with the Bank of Alapaha, former postal clerk and a member of Alapaha United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin Henry Dieas, Jr. who died in 2010; 3 brothers: Russell Selph, Pete Selph and John Henry Selph; 2 sisters: Doris Selph and Maggie McClellan.

She is survived by 2 sons: Charles (Rita) Dieas of Alapaha and Mike (Monica) Dieas of Enigma; 2 grandsons: Jason Dieas and Erik Dieas; 1 step granddaughter: Kelly Davis; 7 step great grandchildren; brother: L. A. Selph of Alapaha.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday November 17, 2018 at 2 PM in Tift Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Hauser officiating.  Interment will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 1:30 at Alapaha United Methodist Church.
