Jeannine Mathis, 67, of Nashville, died Friday April 15, 2022 at Emory University Hospital.

She was born February 3, 1955 in Miami, FL to the late Shelly Powell and the late Edna Morris Powell. She was a retired dispatcher with Berrien County 911 and had also worked with the J.H. Harvey Company. She was a member of Flat Creek Church and was preceded in death by a sister: Geraldine Fackler; brother: Ronnie Powell.

She is survived by her husband: Harold Dane Mathis of Nashville; 2 daughters: Leasa (Todd) Sumler of Nashville and Stephanie Mathis of Nashville; son: Derrick (Shannon) Mathis of Pennsylvania; brother: Wayne (Judy) Powell of Crestview, FL; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
