Jerry L. Cason, 67, of Nashville, died Saturday September 1, 2012 in the Berrien County Hospital.
He was born December 11, 1944 in Ware County to the late Quitman Lemuel Cason and the late Etha Bennett. He retired from Farm Service Agency as CED for over 30 years and was a member of the Community United Methodist Church. He was in the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam war. He is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Vicki Dowling Cason of Nashville; son: Jacob Joseph Cason of Nashville; daughter: Rhonda (Wayne) Clark of Valdosta; brother: Marlon (Nell) Cason of Blackshear; 2 granddaughters: Jessica Clark (Jack Puffenbarger) and Cassie (Patrick) O'Neal, Jr; 3 great grandchildren: Ava, Abigail, and Jace; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
