Jerry Burdette Smith, 64, of Alapaha, died Thursday April 23, 2015 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 16, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Harold Paulk Smith and Marjorie Harsey Smith. He retired from Harvey's Supermarket in Nashville as security enforcement. He was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Paulk Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah Smith of Alapaha; 2 daughters: Julie (Josh) Carter of Omega and Katie Smith of Alapaha; mother: Marjorie Smith of Alapaha; 3 grandchildren: Emily, Zoey and Harlee; very close cousin: Bobby Smith of Jacksonville, FL.
The family will honor his request for cremation and there will not be a formal service.
