Jesse Benjamin "J.B." Brown, 81, of Nashville, died Friday November 8, 2024 at his residence.

He was born June 16, 1943 in Berrien County to the late Benjamin Simon Brown and the late Mary Lee Godwin Brown. He worked as the body shop foreman for the former John Chambless Ford and Bo Lovein Ford and retired as a claims adjuster with State Farm Insurance. He was a charter member of Hope Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Navy. He was a devout Christian and loved witnessing for God.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Carol Mayo Brown who died in 2017.

He is survived by 2 sons: Jason (Christi) Brown of Tallahassee, FL, and Mark (Connie) Brown of Nashville; 5 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 11, 2024 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hughes and Rev. Torry Hanchey officiating. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 5-7 PM in the funeral home.
