Jessie Jesus Garza, 68, of Alapaha, died Monday April 12, 2021 at his residence.

He was born June 27, 1952 in Bartlett, TX to the late Servando "Sam" Garza and the late Maria Cruz Garza. He worked in agriculture, was a mechanic and a certified locksmith. He loved his family, work and was a member of The Bridge Church. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Joe Garza and Johnny Garza.

He is survived by his wife: Lupe Garza of Alapaha; 4 daughters: Alma Linda Garza of TyTy, Rosalinda (Esaul) Salazar of Enigma, Maricella (James) Gyr of Stockton and Veronika Garza of Alapaha; 3 sons: Jessie Garza, Jr of Alapaha, Fermin (April) Garza of Alapaha and Christopher (Janice) Garza of Valdosta; 4 sisters: Mary (Mark) Benton of Florida, Erlinda (Joe) Machado of Florida, Margie (Tony) Deleon of Florida and Janie (Karon) Hughes of Florida; 5 brothers: Henry (Elva) Garza of Florida, Paul (Connie) Rosas of Lenox, Santos (Ramona) Garza of Nashville, Salvador (Elizabeth) Garza of Adrian, MI and Rudy Garza of Texas; 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 4 PM in Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robby Rowe officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
