Jessie Aaron "Jill" Rowan, Jr., age 81 of Nashville died Thursday December 2 at his residence.

Survivors include a son, Mikell (Marie) Rowan of Nashville; 2 grandchildren, Philip (Stephanie) Rowan and Angela (Walt) Warren; 3 great grandchildren, Corey Rowan, Andrew Rowan and Lisa Warren; 2 sisters, Mamie Braswell of Nashville and Bessie Mashburn of Waycross.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Griffin Rowan, 2 sons, Ricky Rowan and Allen Rowan, 5 sisters and 1 brother, Ora Mae Roland, Minnie Roland, Inez Jones, Lourine Roland, Flora Belle Hendley, Clarence Rowan.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 5 at 2 pm in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Interment will be in the Long Bridge cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
