Jessie Mae Luke, 89, of Lakeland, died Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the Lakeland Villa.

She was born January 25, 1937, in Atkinson County to the late Willie Luke and the late Esther Smith Luke. She was a homemaker, retired beautician and member of New Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dorothy Webb and Elizabeth Mackey; 2 brothers: Thomas Luke and Rudolph Luke.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Debbie (Carl Striler) Meguiar of Carrollton, Felecia (Chip) Studstill of Lakeland and Pam (Mark) Corbitt of Lakeland; 3 sisters: Nancy Lee Turner of Nashville, Willene Lewis of Adel and Dixie Sylvia of Hahira; brother: Dean Luke of Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: Heather (Chuck) Irby, Daniel (Misty) Chadwick, April (Kevin) Afferty, Derylray Griffis, Stephen (Deidre) Chadwick and Kasey (Marcus) Goodloe; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Empire cemetery. Visitation is Friday thirty minutes prior to the service in the funeral home.
