Obituary

Jimmy Gordon Jefferson, 76, of Nashville, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 30, 1948, in Berrien County to the late Gordon Junior Jefferson and the late Eula Mae Spikes Jefferson. He retired as an industrial engineer at Nashville Mills, a former substitute teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education, worked as a pest control technician with Chemx and was presently employed with Winfab as an industrial engineer. He loved his family, working in his yard and watching westerns. He was of the Morman faith and served in the National Guard for 6 years.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Beth Odom Jefferson of Nashville; 3 sons: Greg Jefferson, Scott Jefferson and Brad Jefferson all of Nashville; granddaughter: Courtney Outlaw of Valdosta; sister: JoAnn Folds of Adel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 17, 2025, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. Derrell Spikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
