Jimmy Wayne Mixon, 61, of Nashville, died Sunday January 5, 2025 at SGMC Berrien.

He was born March 18, 1963 in Homestead, Fl to the late Harris Lawson Mixon Jr and the late Dolly Musselwhite Livingston.  He was employed with Chaparral Boats for 32 years. He enjoyed hunting, cooking, watching cooking shows; loved his family and life. He is preceded in death by a step sister: Mary Bennett and 2 step brothers: Tony Bennett and George Bennett.

He is survived by a sister: Teresa Mauldin of Nashville; 3 step sisters: Sue Mauldin of Nashville, Carolyn Heath of Nashville, and Cathy Mancil of Willachoochee; step brother: John Bennett of Willachoochee; special cousin: Amy White of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 2 PM in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Randy Lainhart officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday night from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
