Jimmy Talmadge Young's Obituary
Jimmy Talmadge Young, 67, of Nashville, died Friday June 20, 2014 at the Langdale Hospice House.
He was born July 16, 1946 in Berrien County to the late Virgil Talmadge Young and the late Flora Jones. He was retired defense contractor with SAIC in Hampton, VA and was a retired veteran of United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by a brother: Virgil Wayne Young.
He is survived by 2 sons: Wade Young of Sparks and Wyatt Young of Seattle, WA; daughter: Tammy Gross of Dalton; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Ruby Elaine Dillard of TyTy and Laquetia Conner of Sparks; and a half sister: Sara Hesters Farmer of Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Mr. Billy Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Sparks City Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service.
