John Billy Webb, 86, of Valdosta died Friday, April 24, 2026, at his residence.

He was born April 20, 1940, in Cook County to the late Mayo Webb and the late Lessie Earlene Cain Webb. He was a contractor by trade and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mary Lou Paulk and Linda Greene.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Ford Webb of Valdosta; 2 daughters: Selena (Ron) McKenna of Ray City and Lynn (Chris) Thomas of Quitman; 2 sons: John Brinson (Renea) Webb of Hahira and John Billy “Buddy” (Renee) Webb II of Tifton; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Dolly Neely of Valdosta and Eveline Stone of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Stalvey and Rev. Terry Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
