John Steven Booth, 77, of Nashville, died Sunday March 31, 2024 at his residence.
He was born January 19, 1947 in Warren County, Indiana to the late James Arthur Booth and the late Jacqueline Jean Worley Booth. He owned and operated The Welding Shop in Nashville for 20 years. He had a passion for welding, was a hard worker and a true "Jack of all trades". He was a former irrigation salesman in the states of Kentucky and Florida and a member of Flat Creek Church. He loved the outdoors, turkey and deer hunting and served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife: Delma Booth of Nashville; 2 daughters: Renae (Thomas) Moon of Strawberry Plains, TN and Michelle Morrell of Adel; 4 sons: Grant Booth of Ocala, FL, Nathan Booth of Ocala, FL, Ryan Meyers of Adel, and Kenneth Roberson of Hahira; 7 grandchildren: Rebecca (Carson) Walter, Taylor Moon, Hannah Booth, Jorgia Booth, Jessie Booth, Maddox Morrell, and Blake Roberson; 3 great grandchildren: River, Rylan and Alice; brother: Les (Debbie) Booth of Lafayette, IN.
His family will honor request for cremation. A celebration of life will be held at Flat Creek Church at a later date.
